Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau is a highly complex hospital which dates back six centuries, making it the oldest hospital in Spain.
At the beginning of the 21st Century, the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau embarked on the complex process of relocating to its third premises since it was founded more than 600 years ago. The construction of the new Hospital was undertaken in response to new healthcare needs and building started in 2000 in the northern part of the Sant Pau premises, on the corner of Mas Casanovas street and Sant Quintí street.
