About the event
On behalf of the Annual ISPN Meeting Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure to invite you to the 49th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery taking place in Viña del Mar - Chile, between October 15-19, 2023.
ISPN is proud to promote the health in our younger patients since 1972 when founded in Chicago by eleven visionary neurosurgeons and hosts this annual meeting in different countries to share with each other the recent advances in the care of children and to plan ISPN sponsored activities that will further the education of care givers for children with neurosurgical illness. Other objective and function of this meeting is to offer the opportunity to share with the pediatric neurosurgical worldwide community and to enhance friendship and brotherhood specially in this occasion after the pandemic period of isolation and grief we all had to face during 2020-2021.
We have chosen Viña del Mar as the host city and Sheraton Miramar Hotel & Convention Center as the venue. This location also neighbors Valparaiso, the college town of Chile. It is the first commercial port in Chile where the Senate and House of Deputies, University of Valparaiso and many hospitals are located.
