ICGDA2026 is Co-sponsored by Ecole Centrale de Marseille, Aix Marseille University, France, and Palacky University, Czech Republic. The theme for the conference is "Geoinformatics and Data Analysis".

The First two ICGDA conferences were held in Prague, Czech Republic successfully and ICGDA2020-2022 conferences were held as online form because of COVID-19 and travel restrictions. ICGDA 2023 was held as a hybrid conference after COVID-19 and the physical conference was taken place in Faculté de Saint Jérôme, Aix Marseille Université. ICGDA2024 was held in Paris and ICGDA2025 was held in Nice in person successively.
